Overpaying stores found, with a yearly cost on each.

Leadership wanted to know which stores paid too much in card fees, so we built an audit that compares every store with its brand’s normal rate and prices the gap per year.

What they wanted

Card fees were buried in monthly statements that nobody compared. Ahead of the processor renewal, leadership wanted to know which stores were overpaying and by how much.

How we approached it

We lined every store up against its own brand, then put a yearly cost on the difference.

What we delivered
  • Effective rate by brand and by store
  • Highest-rate stores and what they cost per year
  • Flags where fee data looks incomplete
  • An executive workbook export
