The same people, after launch. Fixes, updates and small changes.

A care plan keeps the people who built your site or software on hand after launch, fixing what breaks, keeping it updated and making the small changes your business needs. Once a month we check in with what we did, what we noticed and what's coming up.

Knowing which sites can fail over, before it matters. Sample data; the client is not named.

This is for you if

Three signs it is time.

  • Your site or app is live, and you want someone to call who already knows how it works.
  • Small changes, like a new location, a price update or a new report, pile up because each one feels too small for a project.
  • You're not sure when your site last had a security update.

What changes

Broken things get fixed

Bugs, broken pages and failed scans go on our list and get fixed as part of the plan, without a new quote for each one.

Updates, tested first

Security patches, plugin and framework updates, and app store releases are tried on a test copy before they go live.

A check-in every month

A short note or call: what we fixed, what we updated, what the scans found and what we'd suggest next.

What's included

The usual scope. Every quote says exactly what is in and what is out.

Looking after it

  • Security and software updates, tested before going live
  • Fixes for bugs and broken pages
  • Uptime, accessibility and search checks
  • Watching the data feeds behind your dashboards

Changing it

  • Small features and new pages
  • New locations, menus and price changes
  • New reports and dashboard tweaks
  • Content edits when your team is busy

Staying in touch

  • A monthly check-in by email or call
  • A shared list of open items and what's next
  • Direct contact with the people who built it
  • A written note after any incident

How it runs

The general process, shaped for this kind of job.

  1. 01

    Get to know it

If we didn't build it, we read the code, set up a test copy and list what's out of date. If we did, we already know where everything is.

  2. 02

    Agree what's covered

We write down which sites and systems the plan includes, what counts as a small change and how quickly we respond, so nobody guesses when something breaks.

  3. 03

Look after it, month by month

Updates, fixes and small changes go through a test copy first, then live. Everything we touch goes on your shared list.

  4. 04

    Check in and look ahead

Each month you get what we did, what we noticed and what we'd suggest. Bigger ideas get their own quote, so the plan stays predictable.

Questions

Asked on first calls about this.

Can you look after something you didn't build?

Yes, after a proper look. We review the code and hosting and tell you what we'd want to fix before we take it on, including anything we couldn't stand behind as it is.

What counts as a small change?

Roughly, anything that fits the plan's monthly time and doesn't need new design: a new location page, a price change, an extra field on a form. A new section of an app, a redesign or a new integration gets its own scope and quote. We always say which it is before we start.

How fast do you respond when something breaks?

Urgent problems, like a site that's down or a checkout that's failing, come first and go straight to the people who built it. The exact response times are written into each plan, so you know what to expect before anything happens.

What if we want to stop?

You can end the plan with notice, and we hand over everything: code, logins, documentation and a note on anything still open. If we host it too, we help you move it wherever you like.
