Pricing. A written number before any work starts.

We do not publish a price list, because a store finder and a multi-brand platform are different jobs. Here is how we price instead, so nothing comes as a surprise.

  • Fixed project

A website, an app, a dashboard: something with a clear finish line.

One price for the scope in the brief, paid in stages tied to things you can see, like design sign-off and launch.

  • Monthly product work

Platforms and products that keep growing after launch.

A set amount of the same team's time each month. We plan the month with you, and either side can change the size with notice.

  • Care plan

Anything we have launched, or a site someone else built.

Hosting, updates, backups, monitoring, small fixes and a set amount of change time each month, sized to what you run.

  • Audit

When you want a clear picture before you commit.

A fixed-price review of accessibility and search, your hosting, or software someone else wrote. You get a written report you can act on with or without us.

What moves the price

The questions we ask on the first call, and why.

  • How many systems we connect to, and whether they have a proper way to share data
  • How many locations, brands and languages it has to handle
  • Who uses it: your staff, your customers, or both
  • How much content we write, move or redraw
  • How soon it needs to be live

Always included

Whatever the size of the job.

  • A one-page brief and a written quote before work starts
  • A short note every week and a private link to try the work
  • The code in a repository you can see from day one
  • Notes on how it all fits together at handover

Questions about cost

How much does a project cost?

It depends on what we're building, so we don't publish prices. After the first call we send a written quote with the scope, the price and what isn't included. That's the number we work to.

What if the scope changes partway through?

It often does, once you see the work. We write up the change with its cost and its effect on the timeline, and only start it once you've agreed.

How long does a project take?

A focused website can take weeks. A platform with billing and customer portals takes months. The quote includes a timeline, and if something threatens it, you'll hear from us early, not at the deadline.

How do payments work?

Projects are usually paid in stages: a deposit to start, then payments tied to milestones you can see, like design sign-off and launch. Hosting and care are billed monthly.

Can we start with something small?

Yes, and it's often the right call. A first phase that fixes the most painful thing, like one dashboard or a store finder, tells both of us a lot before anyone commits to more.
